The company was formed through the restructuring of the former Shandong Taishan Transformer Factory. Its equipment range extends to photovoltaic substations, prefabricated cabins and integrated equipment for energy storage.

Equipment includes silicon steel slitting and cross-cutting lines, vacuum drying tanks, an impulse voltage generator, a frequency-doubling generator set and a comprehensive test bench.

The business starts making distribution transformers in Tai’an, Shandong.

ISO 14001 environmental certification in September; on October 8 the former Shandong Taishan Transformer Factory is restructured as Shandong Tebian Electric Power Equipment Co., Ltd.

A redeveloped oil-immersed and dry-type range is released, with a dedicated sales and market team.

Licensed for power construction
Power engineering general contracting qualification: installation and maintenance of lines up to 110 kV.

First 35 kV, 5,000 kVA dry-type unit
Designed and built in-house, energised successfully at the first attempt.

ISO 45001 and provincial recognition
The current ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certificates are first issued (March); named a Shandong “specialised and innovative” SME for 2019–2022 (July).

Level 1 efficiency dry-type and oil-immersed transformers developed by the technical team.

Invention patents granted for an oil-filling device for oil-immersed transformer production and for an intelligent dry-type transformer and its production process, with utility models for dry-type cooling, switchgear frames and capacitor cabinets.

Technology centre and peak deliveries
Tai’an Enterprise Technology Centre (August) and Tai’an R&D centre recognition (April); Technology-based SME; box-type substations supplied to 17 projects in the year.
- 2025
110 kV repair, solar substations, smart monitoring
First 110 kV transformer repair; 17 × 35 kV PV box substations for one solar project; PV primary and secondary cabins energised at the first attempt; invention patent for transformer condition monitoring and fault early warning.

Full type test passed
SZ22-31500/35 kV passes the full type test, including short-circuit withstand and lightning impulse, at the national test centre; energy-efficiency Level 1.
Production equipment
A production base of more than 10,000 m² in Tai’an with 80+ sets of production and test equipment, covering core cutting, winding, insulation, drying, tanking, oil filling and final testing under one roof.
- 6 foil winding machines and 6 variable-speed winding machines
- Silicon steel slitting line and 2 cut-to-length lines
- Wound-core winding machines and a wound-core annealing furnace
- Vacuum pressure casting equipment for dry-type coils
- Vacuum drying ovens and a two-stage vacuum oil filter

Key materials
Grain-oriented silicon steel from Baowu Steel and Shougang, copper strip and foil from domestic mills, bushings from Pingxiang porcelain works, seals from Jiangsu Shenma and tap changers from specialist suppliers. Cores, clamps and nameplates are made in-house.
