Build the transformer locally, buy the active part from us
If you assemble, repair or rewind distribution transformers, you can source the core and the coils from our factory and complete the tank, oil, fittings and testing in your own workshop.
There is no standard catalogue for these parts. Each order is made to your drawings and specification, and the factory proposes a solution for your project before quoting.
What we make in house
Cores
- Stacked cores from grain-oriented silicon steel, cut on our own slitting line and two cut-to-length lines
- Wound cores, made on wound-core winding machines and stress-relieved in our own annealing furnace
- Grain-oriented silicon steel from Baowu Steel and Shougang
Coils
- Foil-wound coils on six foil winding machines
- Wire-wound coils on six variable-speed winding machines
- Copper, aluminium or copper-aluminium windings, with copper strip and foil from domestic mills
- For oil-immersed and dry-type designs up to the 35 kV class
What to send for a proposal
The more of this you can share, the faster the factory can propose a solution and quote.
- Drawings, or the main core and coil dimensions
- Rating (kVA), primary and secondary voltage, and vector group
- Core type (stacked or wound) and any steel grade you specify
- Conductor (copper or aluminium; foil, strip or wire) and insulation class
- Oil-immersed or dry-type, and the loss values you design to
- Quantity per lot and your destination port
How it works
Design review
You send drawings or requirements; the factory checks them and proposes a solution.
Quotation
A quote for your parts, laid out item by item, with the Incoterm stated.
First lot
A first lot to check fit in your own assembly before larger orders.
Production
Inspection points are agreed with you before production starts.
Shipment
Parts are packed for sea freight and shipped from the factory.
Import duty on parts depends on your country’s tariff schedule. Please check it with your customs broker; we do not quote duty rates.
